1. Introduction
Welcome to Boombye ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website and services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Boombye Pro Plan Subscription
Scope: The Boombye Pro Plan grants the user access to the platform's premium features on a recurring monthly subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to the recurring monthly billing cycle.
Cancellation and Refunds: You may cancel your Pro Plan subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of your current paid billing cycle. We do not offer prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations.
Platform Limits: To ensure platform stability and optimal performance for all users, the Pro Plan is subject to the following technical limitations: a maximum file size of 200 MB per upload, a maximum of 1,000 active drops at any given time, and a total account storage quota of 6 GB. We reserve the right to modify these technical limits as necessary.
3. Acceptable Use (Anti-Abuse Policy)
You agree to use Boombye only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from using the Service to:
Host or distribute malware, viruses, or malicious code.
Engage in phishing, spoofing, or any fraudulent activity.
Distribute illegal content, including but not limited to child exploitation material or non-consensual sexual content.
Harass, threaten, or intimidate individuals.
We reserve the right to immediately terminate any account found violating these rules without refund or notice. We cooperate fully with law enforcement regarding illegal activities.
4. Service Mechanics (Zero-Knowledge)
Expiration: You acknowledge that files shared via Boombye are designed to be permanently deleted from our servers upon expiration (based on the timer or view limits you set).
No Recovery: Once a file is deleted, it cannot be recovered by you or by us. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from the intended functionality of the Service.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Boombye, nor its directors, employees, or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Account Data: Your email address and payment history (processed via our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy). We do not store credit card details.
Usage Data: Information on how you access the Service (e.g., browser type, time of access).
Uploaded Content: Files you upload are stored temporarily until their expiration criteria are met.
3. How We Handle Your Files (Zero-Knowledge Architecture) Our Service is designed for privacy.
Encryption: Files are encrypted at rest and in transit.
Deletion: When a "Drop" expires (due to time or view limits), the associated files are permanently deleted from our storage. We do not retain backups of expired files.
Access: We do not access the contents of your drops unless compelled by law or to investigate severe violations of our Terms (e.g., malware distribution).
4. Third-Party Processors We use trusted third-party services to operate:
Payment Processing: Stripe / Lemon Squeezy.
Hosting: [e.g., Vercel / Supabase].
